I read that and all I comprehend is yak yak yak paranoia blather redefinition of public property as restricted space under circumstances and circumvention of private property rights blah blah improves existing criminal statutes etc. etc. buncha bullcrap justifying curtailing movement and expression of population.

Oh, I see, they made a law I already don't like even BETTER. yay

I suspected as much. Some of 'em want to take the worst of The Old Testament, and make it the law of the land.

I have a friend who will, only if I ask him, point me toward things: articles, videos, books, etc., that tell how bad it is.

"Someone proposed such-and-such in THE HOUSE today" or "Such-and-such bill passed THE HOUSE today," don't bother getting
too upset. The House passes a lot of bullshit things they know will never pass through the Senate or the reconcilliation process.
They do it for political theater. It gives certain pols face time on the news and fills a 24-hr news cycle. The most you should
invest is a mild "Ain't it awful."

Knowing that he was just then catching a plane, I didn't fire back, "But- but it already passed the House and the Senate like
wild fire and is on Obama's desk!"
