TLDR: federalized, militarized attacks on American civilians, aka: civil war

Hey, hey, hey, don't be mean. We don't have to be mean, because, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Yup, Cav, that's pretty much what we've figured out. The mayors' conference call was kind of telling. Oh, and he forgot the desire to get rid of Citizens United (or whatever assinine title they gave it), which is just about as popular as the other ones. The Tea Party was easily taken over, and their "aims" were mostly "less goverment", which suited TPTB quite nicely. The people just didn't realize they were being took. So they were easy to manipulate into having nice little "tea parties" on the lawn and to not be a problem.

We're not as easy to control, so the next step is to come down hard, which is what they're doing. It's pretty predictable...when the people actually want something that touches their nicely-feathered nest, that's when they turn on us. Expect lots more of the same; there's a big "action" in the works up at Davis...considering how "well" the last one worked out, I'm pretty sure the response will be similar.

Bad times. We live in bad times. Bad in ways we hadn't considered, as well as all those which we see every day. We'll see if the movement can survive. The protests when I was young came along slowly and built; OWS popped up unannounced...and THOSE actions weren't exactly a walk in the park back then, but nowhere near the threat OWS is today if it has staying power.

How's the view from your cross?

Also, many of us mock you becuase you're an idiot. Not that you're expected to grasp this.

"Goram it kid, let's frak this thing and go home! Engage!"

And yet the sum of your ridicule focuses on ME, personally, and not the facts I bring to the discussion. Never is it my ideas, thoughts or views, but instead, just petty ad hominems.

You're right, that is hard to grasp, unless, of course, you HAVE no legitimate counter, and calling me an idiot is all you have.
