So, I’m going to the Post Office. On the sidewalk outside, a couple of local yahoos have set up an “Impeach Obama” booth.

Okay, no problem, free speech & all that but – they’ve got posters of Obama with a Hitler moustache. Several of them, all over the place.

Now, as a student of history, and the son of a WWII vet, that particular image always makes my blood pressure spike. So I decide to say something about it.

I walk up, catch their eyes, and say, “I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but you’re going to hear it again.” I point at the poster. “Do you have any idea how off base that comparison is?”

One of them smirks. “I think it’s more accurate than you want to admit.”

I raise my voice. “My God, man, do you have the slightest idea who Charlie Chaplin even was?!”

Then I did an about-face, and marched off. The look on the guy's face was priceless!

You could also have brought up the World War 2 vet thing, but yeah, this was funnier.
