Just cause someone can draw a target don't mean they can hit it - especially since the situation in Michigan is so blatantly not even feasible and the politicians who'd have to authorize it know they'll be left holding the bag without even getting something for it since there's no realistic way they can recover anything from that far down.

There is no yield. It's a scheme. Shale is not coal. Their real world yields are nowhere near their 12.5 barrel claim, which itself is pathetic. They've been trucking out around 2/acre, compare that with 17 for ethanol, which is also pretty weak, and between 90 and 240 for biodiesel, which is the only thing that's coming close to an actual field at the moment.

Thing is, the ponzi scheme part of it is going to shoot for trillions of dollars, so the politicians don't care ispf they get re-elected, they'll get rich, and so far having democrats seems to be no edge over having republicans. We have two anti-frackers from each party in govt. Now, but dozens of pro-frackers. Politicians are whores, and they are easily bought.

So there's this documentary called Gasland, I'm sure you guys have all heard of it. I just heard of it this weekend. Also this weekend I was watching TV, cable, I wasn't really paying attention, and I heard what looked to me like a pro fracking commercial, I only caught the tail end of it. So I told my dad what fracking was and how bad it is and when he heard what it was he said he said "That's so silly, what a dumb way to get natural gas when you can get it other way and its way easier and better." Yeah. Has anyone seen this pro fracking commercial?
