The elderly are killed. Young women are raped. And able-bodied men are given hammers, machetes and sticks and forced to fight to the death.
In one of the most chilling revelations yet about the violence in Mexico, a drug cartel-connected trafficker claims fellow gangsters have kidnapped highway bus passengers and forced them into gladiatorlike fights to groom fresh assassins...

So, Jimmy, do you ever watch gladiator movies?

It is a truism that almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so, and will follow it by suppressing opposition, subverting all education to seize early the minds of the young, and by killing, locking up, or driving underground all heretics - RAH

Sounds like you have your title backwards. Seems that's more of the US blaming Mexico. Again.

Well, if true it's pretty damn horrific. Plus, all the mass graves in Mexico don't seem to have any easy reason for their existence. The folks they are finding in those graves are run of the mill folks. Not wealthy kidnapping victims.

Hardware, this is what we call in the trade a propaganda blitz.

Also known as Yellow Journalism, a term coined by that fucker Hearst when he all but singlehandedly helped push a needless, useless, futile war upon us, starting with "Remember the Maine" and devolving into an endless push for war and more war.

See, one of the things that most offends me about the last decade or so of our would-be world domination game isn't that we're doing it, so much as our PISS POOR TRADECRAFT about it - hell, if yer gonna do evil, at least do it *competently* !

This stuff... it's just bad, laughably bad, and as a result, counterproductive to their own aims because nobody takes a laughingstock seriously.

Case in point, on of the latest shovel loads of bolus...

This isn't even *news* - MOST folk who engage in violence, military, gang or otherwise, are younger folk cause they're faster, tougher, dumber and not bogged down by years of age and injury - at the top of their game, you see ?

Might as well put up a headline howling about "US trains teen boys to kill!" - since what *IS* the average age of military enlistment here, not to mention care to guess how old most of the american gangbager gunmen are ?

Pfftth, it's friggin ridiculous, is what it is.
Although, I must admit it had me laughing sarcastically cause the first thing I thought of was Fabiola from Black Lagoon.

Oh noes, teen assassins... whoopty, could be worse, they could be sending... Roberta.
