The big question is, does this qualify as alien invasion, or illegal immigration ?

DREAMTROVE

Invasive species. There was one of these a few years ago, thought to have come from mars. Origin is important, as a meteor can hit the earth, splash terrestrial matter back into space, which can then return to earth as meteors. But all of this is unnecessary, a closer examination of life on earth shows that there are at least 3 and possibly as many as 10 unrelated strains of life on earth, and they start arising very quickly out of the goo as soon as it's cool enough, <108F. It's logical to assume that the same would happen to any planet.

The real question is whether on Xenon that total ditz Worm Queen Palin is trying to head the colony, because if that happens...

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

Wow, groundbreaking news indeed. I do wonder why they haven't done this before. It seems so simple, and the technology's been available for decades...

It'll probably end up inconclusive, and then the world will be split into believers and skeptics. Again.
