Paraphrasing the comments on that article: We just have to explode the correct number each year to offset global warming and return thermal balance. Being a democracy, I think we should vote each year on where to drop our bombs. If we just bombed one or two tropical forests a year it would go a very long way towards making our planet a better place to live. As a no cost bonus, Earth is rid of unprofitable biodiversity.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Oh, Happy, that was FANTASTIC! I have to watch it a few more times, it goes by so fast, but even the first viewing left me sputtering ice tea. In other words; you owe me a keyboard, and you get the prize for the first hearty laugh of the morning!

What hasn't been mentioned by others, by the way, is that limited nuclear strikes would also solve the population problem...if you want to look at it that way!

Hey, DT: You are, next to PN, the most prolific writer of Godwinism here, but you probably already know that. Just makes me curious WHY...

ETA: The only thing I find questionably about that cartoon is to hell with Alaska and Hawaii, I think California should swim all the way to Australia! I may disagree with them on some things, but on more than one, I think they've got it WAY over us...and I sit here thinking "WTF" about so MANY things in the U.S. too...
