The consumption of tofu is cultural, not political.

Alpha sprouts, now there's a sign of liberal decadents. There's no nutritional value in it, and it amounts to eating baby clovers. If your diet consists of eating babies, anywhere, of any kind, then you have an issue in priorities.

Last time I got annoyed at a politicization of a food it was the 2008 campaign and people used the phrase "Latte drinking elitists." Few things make more sense than this concept. The drinking of Lattes results in drinking lots of coffee, so much that you try to find ways to make it more palatable, and you've found that the foam on your cappuccino keeps your coffee hot so effectively that you are unable to drink it. The only way you get to this is by working your ass off so many 16 hour days that you need a fast yet palatable coffee that you can pick up on your break which is bound to be under 15 min. because you're a member of the working class. If you've never had the experience, you're probably a member of the unworking class.
