Yipee!!

A week and a half of a Pineapple Express, and two winter storms. A great start to the rainy season!

We normally get 15" of rain per season (June-July). For this month alone, we got about 10". That may be the last 10" we'll get, but it sure beats the year when we got 3". I expect to see a lot of lupines blooming this spring.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Oh, me TOO! Such joy! But I thought all this rain was creating hell for you guys...aren't you down So. Ca. way? Or am I mixing you up with Rue or someone else? That you call them Pineapple Expresses is something I thought only we CAs did...

I've been having a BALL! Even just sitting here at the computer by the window enjoying it that way is a pleasure...not to mention going to sleep to the sound, dashing through it, looking out the kitchen window, and even driving in it. The ONLY negative so far is one of the dog parks I go to is a swamp, but it'll dry out with a couple of days of dry weather, so even that doesn't count (plus the other one I go to absorbs the moisture and isn't so muddy).

No down side, far as I'm concerned! Hope you get more and get to thoroughly enjoy it; will think of you tomorrow when it rains again!
