pfffft. Yeah, because a bullshit highly processed syrup filled with chemicals that are VERY BAD for you is SO exactly the same as cane sugar, yup.

Far as I know, the only processing they do to sugar is to take the molasses out of it... And maybe bleach it. Not great, but compared to corn syrup? No just no.
