Hello,

I received a spam political email today that suggested something hard to swallow. It said that H.R. 2454 will require homeowners to meet minimum energy efficiency standards before they can sell their houses. It threatens that this could mean thousands of dollars of upgrades before you can put a house on the market. Finally, it suggests that the government can arbitrarily raise these efficiency standards yearly.

Does anyone have any skinny on this? It's the first I've heard of it, and these political emails are usually full of bunk.
