The "science-bsed" model has NOT served us so well, it's caused rampant overfishing, altering of the balance of nature, endangered the survival of various ocean species, and desperately needs revamping.

Scare tactics, nothing more, and grandstand slanting to make it look like recreational fishermen are being targeted; they're not, it's COMMERCIAL overfishing that is the problem.

Just as an aside; there was a period for the public (including recreational fishmermen) to speak out...why no outrcy if they feel so "threatened"?? Maybe most of them don't...?
