Thank God for the internet and FOX News, or else we would never learn about this and other nuggets the Democrats and their whores in the press don't want us to hear.

KWICKO

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

My favorite quote from her:

"And here's the future. The future is we have borders."

Simply stunning in its honesty. And so obvious you wouldn't think it would even have to be said.

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

I won't rely on gotcha' quotes to form an opinion.

But here is the link to the full article:

Here are a few things from the article I found questionable:

"Of the estimated 500,000 illegal immigrants who enter the U.S. each year, 57% come from Mexico. Just six per cent of those living illegally in the United States are Canadian."

If the US has two borders (last I counted there were two to the mainland) - one with Mexico and one with Canada - and 57% come from Mexico - where do the other 43% come from ? And - are we talking about people who come from Mexico (or Canada) or people who come through those countries. Also, are we talking about people who come from a country to the US, no matter where they are now, or people currnetly living here ? When people use different descriptors to make comparisons, I always wonder what's going on between the gaps.

"The most worrisome American official confronting Canada today is a former Arizona governor who thinks the U.S. northern border, which she’s only flown over and never actually crossed on the ground, is a security threat on par with the drug-running, immigrant-smuggling, terrorist-sneaking border wall with Mexico."

While Mexican drug traffic is most notorious, Canadien drug traffic is more organized and more efficient, and better connected with organized crime in the US. And being more obscure, is more physically dangerous to those working the border. I know this for a fact, though I can't reveal my sources.

"When challenged on her concerns, she insisted still-secret data, undoubtedly buried with the aliens at Roswell, justifies her concern."

Well, there are programs that I'm not supposed to know about - radar, sonar, IR and other high-tech monitoring - that are used to scan the lakes and forests that make up the US/ Canadian border. There is a LOT of traffic between us. After all - if all you need to do is get an outboard and run without lights at night - or walk through the forest with a compass and map - how hard could it be ? Hence, the secret monitoring. And, one might speculate, the secret data.

And this has what to do with her comments about the 9/11 skyjackers?

That knockoff of the SOSUS net is pretty nice, yes.

And despite that, they're very efficient indeed, and not just drugs anymore, but currently tobacco.

If it weren't for their anti-competitive practices, I'd damn near consider them legitimate businessmen simply operating in defiance of some really ridiculous restrictions.

It's not like some "legitimate" businesses haven't engaged in far worse, union carbide and monsanto come to mind right off.

Well ... they DO have a tendency to do things like shoot and try and run down border agents. Plus, their code of loyalty is pretty hard to live up to.

That's likely the secret that goes with the secret movement of Roswell from New Mexico to Arizona when she was govner.
