FREMDFIRMA

Cafferty's a rough bastard, but he's refreshingly honest.

I have issue with certain of his prejudices in regard to the middle east, mind you - but he's one of the few commentators willing to sock it to both sides of the political spectrum, and when he does it ain't pretty cause he tends to spare the soft-shoe politically correct shit.

For that ALONE the guy gets cred from me.

Some real winners..
"I would guess it didn't exactly represent a profile in courage for the vice president to wander over there to the F-word network for a sit down with Brit Hume. I mean, that's a little like Bonnie interviewing Clyde, ain't it?"

"Well, I don't know if China is any different, but our relationship with China is certainly different. We're in hock to the Chinese up to our eyeballs because of the war in Iraq, for one thing. They're holding hundreds of billions of dollars worth of our paper. We also are running hundred of billions of dollars worth of trade deficits with them, as we continue to import their junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food and export, you know, jobs to places where you can pay workers a dollar a month to turn out the stuff that we're buying from Wal-Mart. So I think our relationship with China has certainly changed. I think they're basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they've been for the last 50 years"

And man, ask him about Sarah Palin some time, heh.

We *NEED* more ball-breakers in the press, to be honest.

I think....people, the American people, are finally paying attention. We, as a people, as a family, are waking up to what those in power are doing to our home.

So where was your righteous outrage for the last eight years? Or sixteen? Or thirty?

Kwicko, give me a break...Im just catching up.

Yes, Bush was an evil tyrannical bastard.

We patriots get that.

Now what? Its the question. Revolution? War?

There are more of us that WANT to rearrange this society BACK to the Constitution, than might be thought.

"It may have been the losing side. Still not sure it was the wrong one."

Hallelujah.

Sorry, Wulfy - it didn't come out the way it sounded in my head! It was NOT directed solely at you, but rather at all of those - myself included - who buried their heads in the sand for the last 30 or more years and watched this stuff happen, even as far back as NIxon, and probably before that.

The "On Fire" Economy -
The Dow closed at 10,587.60 on January 20, 2001, the day GW Bush took office. Eight years later, it closed below 8000 on the day he left office - a net loss of 25%. That's what conservatives call an economic "success".
