Yes RUE I am a Browncoat, sorry if that pisses you off. Did you ever think that some Browncoats MAY be Republicans? By the way, I think the Obama's should go to the ASPCA and save a dog, not pay hundereds of dollars for some photo op show dog.

I'd never mess with a first pet, although I think the best and most historically memorable would just about HAVE to be Andrew Jacksons parrot Poll.

It was so lewd and foulmouthed that they had to remove it cause it was disrupting the funeral arrangements and upsetting folk.

But what could you expect from a dude who threw wild parties in the white house and invited any american who wished to attend, from the poorest beggar to the richest banker - but no native americans, he was a bit of a racist, alas.

Funny how I don't recall starting a thread with the intent of it being one side against another. I thought i was starting a thread about two little girls getting a dog. Silly me I guess.

I'd leave out the "brilliant" part. There's nothing brilliant in joking about rabid animals and children.

BTW, the Obama's WANT a rescue dog, he said it himself when asked this question yesterday during the news conference but it HAS to be hypo-allergenic because of Malia's allergies so I don't know how realistic that may be. The girls themselves I've heard are wanting a Goldendoodle.
