I agree, it's a good ad, well done to him.

Too bad the Democrats were talking about the old John McCain, not the John McCain we've seen over the last couple of years.

Edit to add: From your tag: "Sarah Palin for VP!" - she would be an excellent choice for him, and dangerous for Obama.

If it were the John McCain of 2000 vs the Hillary Clinton of 2008, part of me would be tempted to go for John McCain. But neither of those two are running in this election, so the choice is clear.
