Go to http://maps.google.com/

Type in your address, or that of somebody you love and Just take a walk down their street in a virtual 3D tour. Maybe you'll see somebody you know, or even yourself.

Bonus points if you find yourself or someone you know doing something you'd be embarrased knowing was on the internet for billions of people to see.

I just checked out my address and the picture I got was AT LEAST 5 years old 'cause our house still had the carport we tore down back then! I might not have been even living at my address when that satellite picture was taken!

Big Brother WAS watching me (maybe), Big Brother CHECKS IN on me every 5 years or so...

Yeah, it's not realtime - I rather suspect ole Googles PR dept is writing checks their technology can't cash...

Besides, there's a couple ways to really munge the living hell out of satellite surveillance, but no offense, I don't intend to share.

Do your own research though, it's not so very hard.

Huh. Our image is only a couple of months old, since the lot across the is razed. (In the last two weeks they started building, so I know it hasn't been update since then.) Plus, we're the only house w/o a pool!

But if you wanna know how much your house is worth, how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has, see a satellite view and check out the neighbors just go to www.zillow.com
