Fascist Dictator Augusto Pinochet died in relative comfort, surrounded by his family.
Unlike thousands of his own people.
He was 91 and lived about 91 years longer than he deserved.
I wonder which upstanding statesmen or women will attend his funeral. Margeret Thatcher will try to make it, I'm sure.

But...you can still draw and quarter someone after they're dead, right? Just bet he and Ray Gun are trading funny death squad stories down in Hell right at this moment...

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

Do they require the accused to be present at their trial? Or could he be tried in absentia anyway - you know, for the record.

Pinochet was even worse than Jimmy Carter.

If there really is a hell, I hope he's burning in its worst domain.

That's probably true, all things considered.

Nothing is more unpredictable than the mob, nothing more obscure than public opinion, nothing more deceptive than the whole political system.

CREVANREAVER - have you considered changing your handle? It reads too much like CRAVENreaver.

But wasn't he America's boy?

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
No one can see their reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.
