All Trump can do is leave the Middle East alone, or Annihilate an Entire Civilization if he's not going to do that. They're animals. They're sub-human. They will never stop fighting until every single person on the other side is dead or enslaved.

And the other side is a bunch of cunts.

Maybe it's time to turn Mecca into Superman (1979)'s Fortress of Solitude like I've been saying we should have done for over 20 years now.

I am not so sure about this.

For any reasonable person who has been paying attention, we have known for a long time that there are multiple "factions" which are trying to run, or speak for Iran. Not all with much authority, and not all with aligned intentions.

Some from former Terrorist regime, some from pre-Terrorist rule (47 years ago) with belief in women being doctors and similar educated types, some who just want more war now, some who just want to have fun killing folk now, some who just want Armageddon, some who just like Terrorism, some who want to extort cashy money for Hormuz transit, etc.

Trump has been negotiating with somebody. No identification, or else they will be terminated within Iran quickly.

Whenever Trump/USA/White House announces an agreement has been reached, or is nearing, they do not announce who the persons are, for good reason. This is called "Iran" or "Tehran" by MSM.
Then, some rando homeless raghead pops up and claims "no he isn't" or "he is lying" - and Libtard news, always happy to promote any clown who says Trump is wrong, reports these claims, never identifying the person/source, other than the generic "Iran" or "Tehran" or sometimes the Iranian Republican Guard Corps.

Once a ceasefire is started, with the sensible faction who wants to survive the next few weeks or months, then another faction grabs some RPG and attacks whatever will violate the cease fire. And then things restart.

The IRGC is most interested in extortion Terrorism so they get money for Hormuz passage. That looks to be mostly the south. More to the north, IRGC re getting spanked - hard - by the Kurds, who have pent up resentment against IRGC from the last few decades of atrocities. Libtard news, including Fox, keeps calling IRGC "Iran" - which is clearly not in control of Iran, but has some control of weapons and mines.

There is a lot to play out, and the media is not helping to identify what is happening.

When you posted OP, I had planned to reply.
I was delayed.
When I did reply, I was both rushed, and incomplete. Sorry.

Primarily, what I am not certain about is that More War is the only path forward. Also, that Trump believes this.

Of all the factions claiming to be in control of Iran, or Tehran, or speaking for, IRGC is not them. IRGC is not who The White House is negotiating with. Neither is the rando towelhead who says "no he's not" so that Libtard Fake News can quote his anonymous claim.

When Tump says progress is made, and IRGC attacks something just to prove him wrong, perhaps this gives other faction(s) opportunity to isolate specific locations or persons who can be deleted. That faction(s) which are pursuing peace might be giving data (intelligence) to America, or negotiators, or Kurds, or IDF. This would benefit the good faction of Iran, the US, IDF, the Peace effort, etc.
What The Trump publicly says and what he does ain't exactly always the same. Trump pretending to be exasperated with negotiations might be just theater, while whittling away at the belligerant miscreants. Some of his statements of the past few weeks might be just rhetoric, or gamesmanship.

It doesn't sound like Kurds are being as subtle as Trump.

I still have hope for a peaceful path forward, without nukes for Iran, or volatile passage of Straits.

He certainly seems to have not been targeting civilians, or excessively non-military infrastructure, or facilities that future peaceful Iranians can make use of.

eta: I'm suggesting that maybe there is some "insider" intelligence happening - the Iranians that Trump is negotiating with might not be able to do damage to IRGC themselves, but helping Trump could put them in good standing. As long as they don't get betrayed and get dead.
