There's a lot of bad creepypastas. A LOT of them.

Some of the better ones would never be able to be turned into a movie just because I can't imagine a single way that they could change them to give them the mass appeal they'd need to make money back. In my mind right now, I'm thinking about the Godzilla Nintendo game creepypasta that's several hours long and can be found with video of what I assume is hacked altered footage from the game.

I loved it. But I'm of a very specific age on top of the fact that my brothers and I were a few of the lucky ones who's Old Man was a sci-fi nerd and bought "Godzilla: Monster of Monsters" for them unsolicited for Christmas in a stack of games one year.

I've never seen another copy of that game in my life. We don't know release totals of a lot of games from back then, but Godzilla was pretty niche in the US in the late 80's. I'd bet that both The Three Stooges and Gilligan's Island sold a lot more copies here than Godzilla did. I don't think this is one of the games the kids are speedrunning 40 years later like Super Mario and Zelda is all I'm saying.

I like Creepypastas because so many other people are enthused about them. There are a lot of great videos that people put together while telling the stories. I've never actually gone out of my way to read any myself. Everybody else already made their lists about which ones were great and which ones were terrible, and the great ones get told in one way or the other.

Did I ever show you this one, Jaynez? This one's freakin' great.
