I had no idea that ads were getting this pervasive. I don't have a smartphone. I don't live near or even visit Chicago. I don't watch TV. And I own tech that is old enough that I have all the power over it. Despite years of them trying to get me to pay for a YouTube membership through trying to destroy adblockers or putting up minor annoyance hurdles that we figure out how to combat nearly as quick as they can come up with them, I can watch YT all day long without ever watching a single ad.

I don't know how ya'll do it. You should say no.

Why didn't they lead with Bill Clinton, also on the list?

It's one of the reasons why I don't even bother looking at or arguing over any points in Ted's articles. It's very clear he never reads any of them. Even the video he posts, I think he's probably just got them on in the background and doesn't even pay any attention to those either.

Second will at least pretend to be an intellectual, and even though it's lazy and morally bankrupt, he will go out of his way to plagiarize other people constantly when he realizes he has zero chance of ever writing his thoughts on an issue down in a cohesive manner.

Ted can't even do any of that. He just throws out articles with zero-thought insults, constantly asks you to back up your own assertions when you call out all of his as garbage, run away from the threads when somebody bothers to take the time to explain something to him in detail, and then 2 months later say that you never back up any of your own assertions.

We are dealing with two extremely retarded individuals here, and I just didn't recognize it because we don't see them in person and I think I just give people on an individual level far more credit than they deserve by default.

And it kind of makes me sad, because I need to be just a little less proud about the fact that I kick both of their asses around all over the place here every day and the fact that they are much stupider than I ever realized means that maybe I'm not as smart as I give myself credit for by comparison.

Oh... and good for you for not watching ads too.

How do you and your family avoid them? I'd be interested to know.
