Correction:

Diabetes drugs with a side-effect of weight loss are being repurposed for mass distribution as weight-loss drugs which have many other currently known negative side-effects, and untold unknown long-term side-effects.

*sigh*

I guess the good news is they'll be making enough so the people who actually need them can get them, unlike when we were having all the shortages of everything and two women in the Diabetes education class were both saying that they were on it but they hadn't been able to get it for months because all the rich fat people were buying it up and the diabetics couldn't get it.

I guess the other bit of good news is that we're finally over the fat insanity period we were going through and fat people want to lose weight again. Yanno... after all the body-positive tick tocker's hearts exploded over the last few years.

Maybe some good comes out of it...

Oh well... Here's hoping it doesn't end like I Am Legend, right?

I see a lot of those ads for diabetic medication on tv up here. Sometimes they promote that these drugs are for treating diabetes and for weight loss, then other times only for weight loss.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

It both controls appetite and blood sugar. It was in such high demand for weight loss prices zoomed up stratospherically. I've been told insurances won't cover it anymore UNLESS you have diabetes or something like sleep apnea.

Ive read the mode of action so many times and I STILL can't figure out how it works!
