This increase is due to the assumptions that Congress will not continue enhanced premium subsidies available to Hoosiers under the American Rescue Plan Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. The IDOI will finalize the review of the 2026 ACA compliant filings by August 15, 2025, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will issue the ultimate approval on or before September 17, 2025.

My health insurance is free and has been free LONG before Joe Biden* fucked up the economy with the Inflation Reduction Act and ARPA.

And when/if I lose it by not working 20 hours per week, I will sign up for the ACA and it will be covered 100% with the low and/or zero income I'll be making anyhow.

I live off of $7,500 a year dude. Easily.

Yep, China is retaliating against "unreasonable" tariffs by boycotting our soybeans. Considering they've been dumping (i.e. selling below cost) many of their products and putting up non- monetary barriers to imports, I wonder what constitutes a a "reasonable" tariff to them? Soybean farmers definitely need support. Unfortunately the Dems have decided to shut down the government over things like healthcare for migrants https://www.zerohedge.com/political/democrats-get-frantic-over-trumps-

AFA the ACA premium assist ... ACA was Obama's abomination. Instead of Medicare for all (and reforming Medicare) or Medicare option, he caved to the insurers and tossed everyone not already in Medicare into the maw of private insurers with a sweetener of govt (i.e. tax dollars) money.

The 2021 expanded premium assistance was another Biden* giveaway.

More people signed up for insurance, but 40% of new enrollees never sought health services.

In other words, health insurers were getting more premiums, AND MORE GOVERNMENT MONEY, FOR NO SERVICES WHATSOEVER. FREE MONEY.

If we're really going to MAHA one thing we need to do is stop hemorrhaging $ into big pharma and insurers.

The whole setup is a big wet sloppy kiss to insurers and needs to be reformed. Cutting out insurance companies would help reduce that 30% that's spent on "administration" and the other 10% on profits.

It was March of 2010 when the Affordable Care Act was first introduced.
