"Clash of Civilizations" an idea that grew in post USSR of looking at the world, people's cultural and religious identities will be the primary source of conflict in the post–Cold War world from political scientist Samuel P Huntington

Before the USSR there was islamics vs the Infidel, the Hindu Nationalist vs Non-Hindu Nationalist, the Jewish elite Rabbi vs the Goyim, the Egyptian, the Roman, the Chinese, the Greek vs the unworthy barbarians of their Empires, the English and French fought each other over centuries, both European both Christian.

Some people are not sure if Latin America should be classed as Western or something else, Colombia, Brazil, Cuba, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico classed as 'another culture' the Hispanic
Ford and Rockefeller get power and Cyprus falls to Turk Turkmenistani Turkey military Turkic alien culture, Reagan tells the Us Marines to run away from islamic attacks, Clinton supports islamic Albanians, little Bush covers up the 28 pages
Orthodox now at war with itself in Eastern Europe
Israel more unstable than ever
and Shinto Japan now old and in decline
more cultures are difficult to define or class for example maybe Philippines are "Western" but South Africa isn't moving more in the direction of Congo Bantu politics? would Israel change to Russia overnight to save itself, is it entirely its own thing?
and Wasn't Spain a dictatorship until recently and once again in danger of a political break up due to the King and Queen's response to the floods? and former Soviet States for example Kazakhstan do you class it differently today or as islam or Ex-USSR close to Russian?

Noam Chomsky seems to have hated the dieas from Samuel P. Huntington "clash of civilizations" idea and instead dismissed it all as fantasy or 'racist' or untrue

Chomsky is known for his work in linguistics, political activism, the study of languages and social criticism
he said there is none, no clash.
