the USA it thinks of scenario, on resources, economic, security so there is going to be a back up or some kind of back up at least looked at

Canada I don't expect a back up plan as much

However before Biden left office he released strategic reserves to try win the election

Canada has far less of a population to feed / secure, < 40 Million while it has a billion upon billions of tonnes of resources, forest a nd timbers, wind, wave, shale oil...but Trudeau politically castrated the economy

a lot of US population centers face extremes the heat and quakes and droughts of California, the Gulf Coast, New York-Newark-Jersey City, Chicago a far bigger population to secure and feed 335 Million, and who knows how many illegals with demands on the system
California LA with its devastation, crazy politics and ongoing fires can not afford any more shocks to the system

you can argue back and forth on talking points from Canada and the USA but in the end a full trade war will fuckitall, it will mess everything up
