Covenant School is a Christian private school that educates students from pre-kindergarten to the sixth grade. It was founded in 2001 as a ministry of the Covenant Presbyterian Church and typically has around 200 students in attendance. Several notable Nashville musicians like Sheryl Crow responded to the shooting, offering their condolences and anger about the continuation of school shootings.

I heard about this earlier from my friend while we were on the phone. He told me it was a 28 year old woman, and I asked WTF a 28 year old woman would shoot up a school.

Now it makes sense with the ACTUAL information.

There now appears to be confirmation that Dylan Butler, the Iowa Perry school shooter, was transgender. Posting under the username "Dylanpickle1996" on Reddit, Dylan frequented the r/trans community.
In one post responding to another user who asked members of the community what was holding them back from transitioning, Dylan wrote: "I don't want to look ugly."
