Nah... I don't think it's either that deep or it's in the interest of self-preservation.

It's a long time until Election Day. They know that Biden* is unpopular and he's a meat puppet that couldn't make it another 4 years, and even TPTB don't want idiot Kamala to be President* after Joe either dies or blatantly loses his mind.
