There have been threads around here on the subject.

Anybody noticed the lawsuits indicating Autism caused by acetaminophen?

That one seemed new to me.

Thanks for the post.
I think autism being "caused by" acetaminophen is too strong a statement

What studies are saying

In a 2018 study, researchers did a meta-analysis of seven studies involving 132,738 pairs of mothers and children.

People were followed for periods ranging from three to 11 years, depending on the study, using questionnaires, interviews, and self-reports on medication use.

The analysis revealed a 20% higher risk of autism and a 30% higher risk of ADHD for children who had prolonged exposure to acetaminophen in the womb.

However, it noted that taking small amounts of acetaminophen during pregnancy — in one study, for fewer than eight days — didn’t increase risks.

Other studies since then have supported earlier findings that too much acetaminophen may increase one’s risk for autism and ADHD.

IF a pregnant woman takes A LOT of acetaminophen then the risk of autism increases. Less than 8 days is OK. Maybe it's like thalidomide or alcohol... Only has negative effects during certain times of fetal development. But the link isn't 1:1. There are many women who NEVER take acetaminophen who have autistic children, and many who do whose children are fine.

An interesting clue, tho. If they can figure out HOW this happens, they may be able to figure out how autism develops in general.

As always, law firms are ready to jump onboard of this issue.

Yes. I did not previously know it was an avenue to pursue.

There has been high incidence of Vaxx triggering autism. Although rampant Vaxxers deny this.

But I am not conjuring the connection between vaccines and acetaminaphen.

Are they the same way to trigger autism? Or 2 different prongs of attack?
Or does the pregnancy acetaminaphen lay the groundwork, the platform, and then later the vaccines are the trigger, the launch, the catalyst?

I wonder about the coincidence factor of both conditions, study/poll both pregnancy acetaminophen plus later vaccine - what percent becomes autism?

Sounds like acetaminophen was discovered in 1866, but not marketed until 1950. Considered the most dangerous chemical used in medicine.

Of the 132,000 kids, how many became autistic?
