It’s a very Americancentric quiz but turns out I’m a Libertarian Socialist whatever that means

I wouldn't put too much stock into it. It's the most questions I've ever answered for one of these things by a long shot and then they give you a label based off of less than 50% of the 9axes that are based off of whatever 8values is.

They told me I was a Religious Socialist, both of which are almost as laughable as saying that you're a Libertarian.

Yeah, whatever that means.

Technically, socialism meant ownership of the means of production by the state, although it's been downgraded to mean "welfare state".

Libertarians OTOH are all about respecting individual property ownership, meaning that what you own, including yourself and the product of your labor, is yours. Nobody can take it away by force, only "market forces" operate. In some variants everyone owns a gun and is prepared to defend their property, including themselves. There is no "nanny state", families look after themselves. This, they believe, will lead to a society of no regulation, no taxes, maximal freedom and maximal efficiency.

The two definitions ... libertarian and socialist ... can't be in the same category unless they're using nonstandard definitions.

Some splinters of your thinking don't meet the definition of religion, but you believe them totally. But you're NOT socialist! If anything you're the opposite - more like a libertarian.

The results seem screwy to me- not only are they riven with internal inconsistencies but they don't match the personalities that I perceive here on the board.
