In the first Winter Olympics, 1924, Norway was #1 with the most medals. In this Olympics, Norway has already won the most medals it has ever won, if you don't count the 2018 Olympics, where Norway was once again #1. This week Norway will possibly set a new world record for number of medals.

I heard somebody of note in Norway said that their goal this year is 32 medals, and they then said "three, two" to emphasize that. Sounds pretty confident.

29 so far with 14 gold medals. One medal per day gets them there.

It's nice seeing China and Russia take such a beating. At least the US seems to have come back a bit from the initial few sad days in the meantime.

No matter what happens now at least the US and Canada get to walk away with at least 20 medals.

Norway rocking 15 gold medals and 34 altogether. They already got more than they were telling the world they'd get.

4 gold, 7 silver, 13 bronze

Our athletes may finish with 25 or better. But still a good showing.

The US actually had 3 more medals, 2 Gold, 1 Silver, than the official totals. That piece-o'-shit Californian Eileen Gu is an American, born and living in America. She decided to compete for China saying she did it for her mother. That's bullshit. She did it because she knew she could cash in on her medals much more lucratively as a "hero" of China. The traitorous whore ought to be barred from entry back into the USA.

ps. And fuck NBC too. Seeing Mike Tirico gush and coo over Gu's successes made me wanna punch out the tv. What a tool he is... how could he not get it? ... Americans hate traitors.

Not sorry that I didn't watch a single second of the Olympics again this year.

And don't worry about NBC. They already fucked themselves. They're stuck with a very long contract and a first year that saw viewership at only half of what it was last winter olympics.

Oh... and P.S. I wouldn't be so quick to judge this Eileen Gu character.

I can very easily imagine a situation where the Chinese under Xi's orders were waiting for her to come back into her room where her mom was tied up and gagged in a chair, crying, with thugs pointing a gun at her head to let her know that if she doesn't skate for china than they both were going to be fed to the pigs.

In any event, it looks as though the 2022 Winter Olympics were as legitimate as the 2020 November Election.

Maybe I forgot to post it. NBC reported that these Genocide Hunger Games were the lowest rated Olympics in a while, and they explain it was all due to covid, the Wuhan China Flu.

For the record ... I love The Olympics. I've always loved The Olympics, since the first one I remember watching from Tokyo in 1964. Even with all the problems with IOC policies, even with 'woke' tv coverage, etc., it's still a spectacle like no other. In Peking, there was more than enough great competition in a wide variety of sports to enjoy the 2 weeks thoroughly.
