I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I would have thought that, for those old enough to remember

"Smoke 'em out""
"Dead or alive"
"East, west, north, and south somewhat of Baghdad"

would have put people on notice.

****

But then there was the whole "RUSSIA!RUSSIA!" froth... which I hope is becoming clear with time and distance that it was a long-playing whole-cloth disinfo campaign

*****

Or what about the "mostly peaceful" riots (intoned by CNN in front of a building busy burning itself to the ground)?

*****

Or the whole "feel guilty because you're white/ male/ hetero/ Christian/ fill in the blank / extreme-PC" movement?

*****

Would have thought by now that people would have realized that the media sells crocks of shit for a living.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

More than eight-in-ten Americans get news from digital devices

If you control social media and internet content, you control America, I guess. And people are programmed to short-term coverage - remember how hurricane Katrina disappeared from the news and people just assumed the problems were over? ... And Fukushima as well. How about 'I don't think much about bin Laden' a mere few months after 'smoke 'em out!', 'dead of alive!', 'if you're not against them you're with the terrorists' ... and America pivoted noiselessly and frictionlessly to Iraq.

But we have only ourselves to blame. We don't demand better. We don't patronize better. If the money went elsewhere - to better coverage - the media would follow.

Maybe increase the Inteligence level, the psychometric average.
A good start would be to drop CA into the ocean, along the fault line. Go Lex Luthor!

People are put through US Public schools to make them stupid adults that lack the ability to think critically.

Most of them are born and bred sheep.

Good luck.

The interwebs can be good and bad, a massive rabbit hole that can Bamboozle and Confuse ...we now see it getting centralized and they even have power to ban a US President from speaking
