That way, when he wins both, there is no way he can't win the general election. I think it means the date Trump signs the bill. The weeks are counted starting when the bill is signed, not started from Dec 26th. If Trump signed on March 14th, and you had been unemployed since November, you get zero weeks times $300 = $0. Quote:Further delays could prove more costly. States cannot pay out benefits for weeks that begin before the bill is signed, meaning that if the president does not sign the bill by Saturday, benefits will not restart until the first week of January. But they will still end in mid-March, effectively trimming the extension to 10 weeks from 11.

Not one single person who is qualified to speak on the issue has said that anybody will end up losing $300. Only "journalists" from left wing news sources have said it. It doesn't need to be changed to match my interpretation of the bill. My interpretation is already correct. But sure... Even a massive 5,593 page document can be altered in M$ Word or a free equivalent with about 3 minutes free time to dumb down the legalese so a moron like you can read it.

Even if I were wrong in my interpretation, anybody who didn't approve making it retroactive would be shooting themselves in the foot and likely be ending their own political career. Trump hasn't cut any unemployment benefits here. There is a zero probability that this will happen either way. Besides... your dumb ass still thinks that the "agreement" means when Trump decides to sign the document. You're a retard.

And the $300 federal enhancement may only last 10 weeks instead of 11 weeks for most folks. That's because states can't provide benefits for weeks that start before programs are authorized, but the legislation calls for the extra payments to end on March 14.

That sure is a far cry from the certainty they stated this with yesterday, huh? Look at the dummies already backpeadling. Still give the Trump haters another day of hating Trump for another falsehood, but also gives the Legacy Media the wiggle room they need to back out of this and take no accountability for lying. And it's because of assholes like you that won't call them on it that they can continually get away with this. Way to go, asshole. They either lied, or they're completely incompetent at their jobs and should be fired and replaced with people who know what the fuck they're talking about. Demand more from your Media.

Quote:Now, the U.S. Labor Department and several states have indicated that there should be no gap in those benefits. The Labor Department said that it “does not anticipate that eligible claimants will miss a week of benefits due to the timing of the law’s enactment” in a statement to CNBC. So far Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, and Washington State have said there will be no gap week for their unemployment recipients. More states are expected to make the same confirmation. Those payments may still arrive late because of the time needed to update state systems, but late payments will include retroactive payments for prior weeks.

Quote:Policy experts had warned that by approving the new relief package after Dec. 26, Trump would create a “gap week” for recipients of PUA and PEUC because states could not pay benefits for weeks that began after the bill was signed. It’s not currently clear what changes have been made to circumvent that obstacle.
