President Trump: good, bad, and ugly

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.
Quote: Because despite a REAL TIME counterintelligence operation on the Trump campaign (which ran a number of "dangles" on campaigners), and an after-the-fact multi-year "investigation" (which btw used such sleazy and illegal tactics as hiding exculpatory evidence (eg an internal memo which cleared Flynn of "collusion" with Russia) in order to pressure potential witnesses) there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that any such "collusion" occurred. Seriously, if there had been collusion it would have left traces ... electronic communications, at least ONE packet captured by the NSA, real-time humint... but there's nothing. Nada. Zero. Zip. Just your paranoia.- SIGNY That's not true of course. There was evidence- CC
Quote:Here's a thought experiment: If Hillary won the election and stood at a podium next to Putin during a public press conference and said, "I know my people believe Russian hacked the election, but I think they're wrong because Putin told me they were. He was very strong and powerful in doing so." (fwiw I seriously believe Putin even told him to use those words). If Hillary dissed her own country publicly to side with Putin or Xi? Yeah, we'd want to know wtf they had over her. That's not paranoia or delusion, that's basic logic.- CC
Quote: IF the unlikely were to happen... it won't be because of Israel. It will cost us way too much without any ROI. - CC And all of our other ME wars? Why did THEY happen? There was no ROI either, and over a trillion dollars were spent - not chump change! - SIGNY It's called learning, evolving.- CC

Quote:The New York Times issues major correction to Kavanaugh sexual assault story It’s one thing to misspell a name or get a specific date wrong. It’s another thing entirely to report that a supposed witness to a sexual assault says he remembers it happening when he has said the exact opposite... This is where the Times report goes off the rail. The paper's Tuesday report included a passage that originally read [emphasis added]: One possible witness is a friend of Judge Kavanaugh’s, Mark Judge, who Dr. Blasey said was in the room with Judge Kavanaugh when the assault occurred. Mr. Judge had told the Judiciary Committee that he does remember the episode and has nothing more to say, seemingly foreclosing the possibility of an additional witness interview, at least for now. No, no, no. That’s the exact opposite of what Judge told the Judiciary Committee. Good Lord.
Quote:Times Makes Major Correction That Undermines Its Big Brett Kavanaugh Story By Benjamin Hart On Sunday, the New York Times updated its story reporting a new assault allegation against Brett Kavanaugh, which had drawn widespread attention, to clarify that the woman at the center of the incident does not recall it. A newly attached editor’s note at the bottom of the story reads: “An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article.”

It was scheduled for the week of the anniversary of 9/11. He canceled it by tweet. Does this strike you as even remotely rational? No. it doesn't. But I don't pay much attention to his tweets. Quote:Before that, Trump canceled a state visit to Denmark because Denmark wouldn’t sell Greenland to the US. Hello? Greenland wasn’t for sale. The US no longer buys populated countries. The state visit had been planned for months. Yep, sounds kinda cray cray there too. However, there may be more there than meets the eye. Denmark is also THE bulwark against the completion of Russia's Nord Stream II; they're refusing to issue permits for their body of water. If Denmark folds on that, it may be the real reson for a state visit and cancellation ... one which neither party would want to admit to. Anyway, on the face of it, it's pretty stupid. Quote:He has repeatedly told senior officials to explore using nuclear bombs to stop hurricanes hitting the US. At this point, I don't believe anything that is leaked to the press anonymously. The press lied more than Trump, and about more consequential things. They lied about RUSSIA!! They lied about Kavanaugh. They lied about Trump's so-called "racism". They lied about Syria, and Ukraine, and Skripal, and about every war we ever entered. The lied about Nick Sandman (Covington student) They lied abut things big and small. Why should anyone believe a word they publish? Quote: He believes video games cause mass shootings. First person shooter games may indeed desensitize some people about shooting. Quote: He thinks climate change is no big deal. Unfortunately so do a lot of peole. Quote:He says trade wars are “good and easy to win”. He insists it’s Chinese rather than US consumers who pay his tariffs. He “orders” American firms to stop doing business in China. Again, I don't pay much attention to his tweets. I think they're kind of like advertising. Quote:He calls the chairman of the Federal Reserve an “enemy”. He is. The fed should be abolished Quote:He retweets a comedian’s sick suggestion that the Clintons were responsible for the suicide of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, and no sick jokes weren't made about Trump? did you notice that in the comedy skit about Trump, the comedian had to put words in Trump's mouth to create punchlines? Talk about strawmanning! Quote:I think we have to face the truth. This is no longer a case of excessive narcissism or grandiosity. We’re not simply dealing with an unusually large ego. Trump is mentally unstable. And he’s getting worse by the day. Since I don't pay attention to what Trump tweets and I don't pay attention to what the M$M says about Trump ... you will not find the truth in either ... I'm looking at what Trump DOES. Here's a test: Trump has said he is "locked and loaded" for war with Iran, depending on who Saudi Arabia determines was the source of the attack on their main oil processing facility. Saudi Arabia says "Iranian weapons" were used against its oil facilty. So, more huff-n-puff to help "Bibi" (elections tomorrow?) WAR WITH IRAN? Or something in-between? -----------

He is good at feeding his desires. He's enriched himself and his fellow rich people. He hates non-whites with a passion, and has worked hard to "clean up" this country. That's it.

It's everything you hate about Trump: trade war with China, scraping off of NATO, border enforcement, reversal of environmental regulation, trend towards a more conservative Supreme Court. Just look back at everything you've been kvetching and whinging about. According to you, a lot has changed! Now, if only peace would break out in the ME and if we would only get that promised reset with Russia I'd be a lot happier.

Do Right, Be Right. :)Download The Beach Bum https://psarips.eu/movie/the-beach-bum-2019/ Many people in the movie liked Moondog. He had servants and friends and a child who took her daddy to the convenience store for a beer and then to rehab. Even cops and judges were lenient on Moondog. There wouldn't been any movie if people weren't saving Moondog from the stupidest things he does. He is loved. But he is crazy in the same way Trump is. He is inspired to do crazier things as the movie progresses. Moondog is not a man to see his errors or to stop talking and start thinking. Neither is Trump. Trump's White House is a movie like "The Beach Bum". Opinions are strongly divided about how bad the movie is: www.metacritic.com/movie/the-beach-bum/user-reviews The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly
