Anybody seen some show called Love Island, on CBS?

Scantily clad 20-aomethings, apparently hooking up.

I saw an episode last night.
I felt sorry for the women on the show. The males seemed to be the bottom of the barrel, the most vacuous, inarticulate juicemonkeys I've seen on broadcast TV. They seem incapable of thought, or speech. There is even a token Black Guy, seemibly present to inject "lit" into the lexicon.
I turned on the Closed Captioning to try to decipher what was being said which sounded like various forms of grunting, but that wasn't much help - a bunch of codes or secret abbreviations were used, or it was just gibberish.

I have seen the episode of King of The Hill when Boomhower calls 911 to report the explosion, with Closed Captioning. THAT was hilarious - this last night was just suffering.
There was nothing else on.

I don't know how you could even endure that for more than 5 seconds.

I wouldn't feel too sorry for those girls though. I'm sure outside of the looks department none of them are prizes either. It takes a really "special" type of person to be on one of those shows.

Takes a pretty special type to actually enjoy watching them too, I suppose.

I neglected to fill out my full OP.

Normally, the women are such bimbos that they contrast sharply against the sensible males.
But in this show the males are so incapable of stringing together more than a few words, or even completing words, that it is difficult to determine if the women really are also stupid.
