I too, have little faith in the Dems. But if I were one of the current group, I would hope I would have enough confidence in myself and my beliefs that I would be excited by the prospect of having the public stage - even for 1 hour with the GOP - to show the undecideds how much better we are than the gop filth. I walked into a convenience store just as Senator Harris was about to grill Barr. I asked the lady behind the counter if she could turn the volume up, she did, and about 5 or 6 nearby gathered around to watch.

It's disingenuous to bring that objection up NOW. The only reason why the Dems didn't was because they thought he was on "their" side, so they were a-OK with any possible conflict if it got them the result that they wanted.
