Donald Trump's campaign committee sent a fundraising email Tuesday in advance of the president's prime-time address on immigration and the border wall.
The email urges Trump supporters to donate to a "border fund" after promoting the address.
The president's speech has proved controversial as all the major television networks agreed to air it. Democrats, who vehemently oppose the wall, are demanding equal time.
The Trump Make America Great Committee sent out an email hours before the president's controversial prime-time address asking Trump supporters to donate to the "Official Secure the Border Fund."

"We need to raise $500,000 in ONE DAY," the email, which is signed by Trump, says. "I want to know who stood with me when it mattered most so I've asked my team to send me a list of EVERY AMERICAN PATRIOT who donates to the Official Secure the Border Fund."

The email promotes Trump's Oval Office address, which will air on all major TV networks at 9 p.m. EST Tuesday.

The networks' decision to air the speech has drawn criticism from Democrats, who've said those same networks — which include NBC and ABC — refused to air a 2014 prime-time immigration address by Barack Obama because, according to the Washington Post, it was "overtly political." According to Bloomberg, TV networks plan on airing a Democratic rebuttal.

I paid about $2,500 in income taxes/social security and $1,200 in property taxes last year and will do so again this year. They can take it out of that.

You don't remember or care that Mexico was suppose to pay for this? That was his promise, right?

Do you also not realize or care that even if Dump stole more out of the treasury for his "wall" they wouldn't start breaking ground until close to 2020? And even then, if the stars align and if any of the money remains for the actual row of steel slats, they won't make much difference if ANY to illegal immigration? Or drugs? You'll just be giving Dump money for nothing.
