Heard a song last night that I've heard a few times recently that I really love the sound of, but I guess I didn't get enough of the words, or get them right. I'm hearing the chorus part in my head vividly as far as the beat and the way the vocals sound, but the words are must mish mash. It's driving me nuts. I REALLY want to hear that song now and know who did it.

I can't even put anything into words that would really help. The lead voice is a bit reminisint of Tom Petty's voice and the chorus has multiple voices of which some are probably women too, but it doesn't sound like a Tom Petty song. It's got a really upbeat style to it. (Not that a lot of Petty's songs don't, just making that observation here).

The beginning of the chours sounds something like "All the little ______". Fishes? Bitches? Neither of those make any sense with the tune. It also sounds like the last part of the chorus is "That's the way they go".

lol....

All the little fishes know that snitches get stitches. Bum bum do bum, that's they way they go.

Totally not the lyrics. I'm really reaching here. Gonna have to ask around if anybody knows what it is the next time it comes on. I'm so out of touch with new music it could be five years old even though it's new to me.

Heard this one at the tail end of a video on a youtube channel I love. Took me a while to find the actual song.

Love hearing weird songs like this. Sarah Wassal's voice is amazing. She reminds me of Mazzy Star.

So... about that song. It was on again tonight and asked Number 2 if he could go back a song and tell me who did it. No need. He already knew it was called Pumped Up Kicks.

Man... this song kicks so much ass. I've obviously been living in a cave for years since it's been around since 2011 and was one of the most popular songs of the year.

The funny thing is when I looked at the lyrics, I actually wasn't too far off from the actual words to the song. It's just such a happy sounding song, but it's actually really, really sad. It's got a pretty interesting back story. I never would have imagined how dark the lyrics were and would have thought it was a song about partying and carefree youth.

Glad I finally heard this song 7 years after it was made. What a great jam.
