Pai’s relationships with big telecoms and media companies have been the subject of scrutiny since he took over the agency, particularly his relationship with Verizon, for which he worked as a lawyer before joining the federal government. In November, the Times published an investigation that found Pai and his aides had numerous contacts with Sinclair leadership, and Pai himself met with the company’s executive chairman a few days before he took on his new role at the FCC.

It’s not a good idea to put so much control of local media into the hands of any single corporation, but Sinclair has been specifically worrisome due to its requirement that stations air “must-run” packages of pre-recorded content that ********promotes a conservative agenda************. Former Trump spokesman Boris Epshtyn became Sinclair’s chief political analyst after leaving the White House. And according to a Politico report, the Trump campaign made a deal with Sinclair in 2016 that exchanged more access to the candidate in return for favorable coverage.

How many more people around Chump have to be investigated or charged for his idiot followers to understand the word CORRUPT???? Something tells me they think it's a good thing...

I'm still waiting for my bill for using youtube and fireflyfans.

In the mean time, my internet speed was doubled at no cost to me.

Although... that's not saying a whole lot. Around my area the speeds are pretty average per tier for America, but we have super slow internet speeds compared to most of the rest of the developed world. (How do I know? I talk to people all over the world.) Part of that is because a majority of us stateside are using almost 40 year old tech via co-axial cable to get that info into our houses. The very same tech that brought us HBO and the first MTV video in our houses in the early 80's.

Rettig’s work for the “Girls Gone Wild” creator is unlikely to hamper his nomination, but it has a particular of-course-he-did quality to it.

Rettig would also be tasked with overseeing an audit of the president’s personal tax returns. Why did Trump pick this guy for that job? Because in a 2016 article for Forbes, Rettig defended Trump’s decision to not release his tax returns.

There is zero evidence that anything you're talking about is happening.

On the rare occasion that one of the over 4,000 ISPs in America were taking advantage of customers, the government stepped in and put an end to it.

We never had "Net Neutrality" until a few years ago. Since my first internet connection, the speed of my internet service has increased by a multiple of 446 times. Nobody is throttling my connection today or cutting services.
