I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I can't imagine a genetics test shaking my view of "who I am", unless it reveals a terrible genetic disease. Why should it matter to anyone whether they're from Ashkenazi or Celtic roots, unless a genetic disease is in question, or there are Federal contracts/ agreements in question, such as with native peoples, or you're just looking for long-lost relatives for some spare body parts?

This focus on genetics is just a form of racism, as far as I can tell.

(You see WISHY? There is no such thing as "no politics". Because I can bring "politics" into anything!)

If you can't figure out that being one culture all your life, and then getting a test that says your whole value system, traditions, and self identity aren't what you though they were and that it would be disconcerting and confidence affecting...you don't get ANYTHING. Not that I didn't get that already.
