Yep, and it was the opposition that did it.
Quote:

Britney is performing in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park for the first time ever on July 3 – so it’s clearly a big deal.

So much so that the country’s Labour Party, which was due to vote for its new leader on that day, has ended up changing the date.

A party spokesperson told the Times of Israel that, because of the concert, there had been ‘a difficulty in recruiting security guards’ for the election.
Putin doesn't want you to share this picture of him, so please stop it

They also thought moving the date of the primaries would ‘make it easier for people to reach polling stations’, because of the heavy traffic expected in the city.

Although the party didn’t mention Britney by name, a statement put out did say: ‘The election date was delayed by one day due to the fact that there is a major event at Yarkon Park on July 3, 2017.’

They did not confirm if any party officials were planning to go see the princess of pop.

My god! Her neck looks like Madonna's neck.

What happened to you Britney?

I remember in this election and really all the prior ones how dumb normally cool musicians look on a political stage. I think it's that they're really saying "Whoa-oh, living on a prayer" which isn't a very complex thought, and is just silly when using it to describe someone we all thought was a shoe-in at the time. Many epic moments, most of them with Bruce Springstein in them, the most epic so far was probably Herman Cain singing imagine.

"Give Pizza a Chance."

The statement that ended Cain's political career

I think I commented before that Lady Gaga in a Nazi-themed uniform on election eve, her and Hillary roman saluting the audience, that was an epic stupid that probably was the one thing that actually cost her the election. It was the headline on liberal papers on election day "That's not a nazi uniform." Yeah, way to energize your base "Go out and vote for someone because she might not be a nazi." Maybe when your that popular (Gaga, Spears, et al) you don't realize you're carrying around a can of stupid, and your fans may not realize it either.

I think we should have more of this. Send Katie Perry into a war zone, see if they have to stop bombing long enough for her to shake her booty. Might stop a war. Send Kim and Kanye to see if they actually start a war. (I just realized, when they break up it will be nuclear.)

Especially for Netanyahu

Here's their hit from a while back, complete with Russian driving, prostitution, and domestic violence. Somehow watching this I had a mental image of Trump and Putin covering this song.

Russia, why send the trolls? Shouldn't you just send Tatu over to tell us to love Russia and trust Trump? You have a student protest? Send in a popstar, I'm sure they can't resist.

If Trump wants to postpone the next election, Tiffany has to work on her act

Yeah, that's really her song. I think it's a step up over Friday, but she could use some new dancers if you want to compete with Nazi-Madonna:

Lady Gaga, of course. Reminiscent, intentionally, I'm sure, of the Madonna 1.0's controversial slutfest (warning, incredibly tame video, it was the 80s)

Also, how did I miss this?

She's not old.

Madonna was still smoking hot when she was 35.

I know you G. You're the guy who has a lot of female friends. They all wear baggy clothes and birkenstocks and reek of patchouli and have daddy issues.

Everyone loves them, that's why all the anime girls are colored like Scandinavians.
