That's awesome Jack, really. I always wondered why you didn't try and get work renovating homes or doing house jobs since you did so much work on yours. There are no Republican lawmakers who will vote for $15/hour minimum. With them, it is a principle. The Democrats are a little better, being willing to increase the minimum, but only gradually, because 38% of voters are working at greater than $20/hour. Those better paid voters hate service workers being paid enough to join the middle-class. Those voters will punish Democratic lawmakers who raise the minimum. Sadly, the people making less than $20/hour aren't willing to force a raise and I do mean force, like punch their boss. When was the last time you even heard of somebody making close to minimum wage confronting their boss for a raise?
