I don't have a problem at all with the fact that he did it. It was in the interest of national security.

I just find it appalling that it got zero media coverage when he did it and that he'll turn around and say it's against the American Way when Trump does it.

You don't understand because you are only capable of scratching the surface of a topic. In-depth thinking confuses you. Trump singled out Muslims. He campaigned about banning Muslims. The difference between what his is doing as comparted to others has been discussed in-depth. You can't seem to grasp it.

Now, he may get his way because while the constitution says he can't do that, there is also a law based on national security that gives him a lot of leeway. It's why he is doing it, and how he went about it, that is the problem.

Also, making statements about Muslims and singling them out the way he has, has puts our troops and foreign service people at much greater risk. It was and is a stupid thing to do. What could be a motive for doing that? Probably because saying things to please his right wing base is more important than protecting our troops.
