Trump brought along his own cheering section when he visited the CIA the day after the inauguration. CBS News has confirmed about President Trump's visit to the CIA on Saturday: An official said the visit “made relations with the intelligence community worse” and described the visit as “uncomfortable.” Authorities are also pushing back against the perception that the CIA workforce was cheering for the president. They say the first three rows in front of the president were largely made up of supporters of Mr. Trump’s campaign. An official with knowledge of the make-up of the crowd says that there were about 40 people who’d been invited by the Trump, Mike Pence and Rep. Mike Pompeo teams....There were about 400 members of the workforce who RSVP’d for the event out of thousands who received an invitation in their email late last week. Officials dismiss White House claims that there were people waiting to get into the event. www.cbsnews.com/news/sources-say-theres-a-sense-of-unease-in-intel-community-after-trump-cia-visit/ We now have a president who travels with his own private cheering section and allows the press to film his events only from approved angles that hide this fact. People keep comparing Trump to Mussolini, but I'm beginning to think this might be unfair to Il Duce.

I say this because the truth will continue to be called false by this president and as it does his detractors should grow.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.
Quote:President Donald Trump is being “demoralized” by the drumbeat of negative press, his spokesman said today in his first official press conference at the White House.

What Spicer actually said: “You see this historic thing and he stands there at the capital and you look out and its an amazing view….then to hear ‘Look at this shot, it wasn’t that big’ it is a little demoralizing.” PLEASE NOTE: he did NOT say Trump was 'being demoralized'.

Stop being so mean to president Trump, his spokesman tells the media in his first real press conference President Donald Trump is being “demoralized” by the drumbeat of negative press, his spokesman said today in his first official press conference at the White House. It was a jarring message from a president who relied heavily on name-calling during his campaign, encouraged his fans to harass media, falsely accused his predecessor of being born in Kenya, and has often bragged about his toughness and dislike of “losers.” https://qz.com/892878/stop-being-so-mean-to-president-trump-spokesman-sean-spicer-tells-the-media-in-his-first-real-press-conference/

Quote: Wow... you mean that people voted for the "lesser of two evils". That's never happened before. I'd say if he has at least 75% of his voters actually wanting to vote for him, that's a really good number. Do Right, Be Right. :)

You're the only one in the RWED that doesn't like Trump. One might think that those are veiled threats.Am I threatening Vice-President Pence, now? SEVEN out of 47 total, about 15% of the VPs, didn’t survive their term. It is a very dangerous job. The vice presidency has been vacant due to resignation or death a total of 37 years and 290 days, about a fifth of the time. There is a reason why that’s not a better-known fact: it hasn’t happened in the last 100 years. The most recent Vice President to die in office was James Schoolcraft Sherman, VP under President Taft, in 1912. http://deadpresidents.tumblr.com/post/59019480199/yes-quite-a-few-of-our-vice-presidents-have-died Come to think of it, Trump is like the Space Shuttle. The chances of it crashing were thought to be only one in a million. Then it blew up. Then the probability of catastrophe was revised, but it again blew up. Trump has a much worse chance of blowing up then the Space Shuttle ever did. There are engineers asserting that Trump has leaky O-rings in his boosters and cracked silica tiles on his wings. But NASA management is not listening to the rocket scientists. And neither is the GOP-controlled Congress listening.

As usual, Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who has been leading the charge against the ACA for years, said too bad for you, but not for me.

You don't care about that money. 1) Actually I'm starting to think that it doesn't really exist in the first place anyways. 2) I don't believe you even tote guns, and 3) I don't believe that you're a Republican either.
