No matter how small or how distant frum the person they are attacking, they play it up like its the modern Watergate.

Take Hillary'z email. All that she really did orijinally wuz uze her own server. NOTHING HAPPENED!

But if you werent paying any attention, from the noize youv been hearing for the last 2 yirz youd think she wuz sending the Pentagonz entire collection uv classified material to ISIS (wich she created) and Putin and we are now on the verj uv being taken over by them.

Then look at Trump. Pick any uv the dozen or so scamz and scandlez he haz on eazily available media reports. Each uv them iz worthy uv a prizon stay. Most uv them hav dozenz or even hundredz uv real live victimz.

Lately, theyv been trying to get sum smoke going over the Clinton Foundation - a charitable organization! Az if Hillary being prez will make it a conflict uv interest in her benefit.

Completely bizarr that theyd think about this for more than 10 secondz, sinse Trump haz so many biznessez and bizness associationz that it will make it completely imposssible for him to do anything az prez without benefitting himself financially in any number uv them.

Don't you know by now that the Media belongs to the Democrats. Dems will do
anything to make the GOP look bad, and so they fix the broadcasts and run all
the political commercials to make Trump look bad.

After all, when you have a candidate that constantly looks out for the average Joe, you gotta do something. His track record with the black community speaks volumes about his exemplary character and unflinching
loyalty to the minority community. Hell, his charitable contributions and
domestic job-building in Detroit has gone virtually unsung in the mainstream
media.

So yeah, we own this bitch!

So tell me, since you know so much. When was the last time Trump was in a black church, when was the last time his business created a single job in Detroit? Please list his minority accomplishments here, you know, since
the mainstream media won't report it. What is his plan to create jobs in
Detroit for the future?

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I thought this was funny from the wsj blog (is a blog a news article, or an editorial?) - "The exact reasons (for the employment-population ratio) are hard to disentangle; economists don’t agree exactly where the employment-population ratio ought to be."

The author, whoever it was, did a lot of fancy dancing about that number. Some people are choosing to be students! Some people, are choosing to stay at home rather than work! Some people are choosing to retire early! And my personal favorite, some people are choosing to be disabled! And you can never make assumptions about the underlying demographics!

Here's his prevarication: does the percentage of senior citizens change drastically over 5 years? Does the percentage of mothers change drastically over 5 years? Does the percentage of school age children change drastically over 5 years? Does the percentage of college age young adults change drastically over 5 years? Does the percentage of the disabled change drastically over 5 years?

The answer, of course, is NO.

In fact, the raw numbers and relative proportions of senior citizens, mothers, children, young adults, and the disabled are well-know statistics.

So if the employment-population ratio - also called the labor participation rate - varies drastically in ways that can't be accounted for by changes in the underlying population characteristics, it's not due to some weird, hard to fathom, mysterious 'something'. Then what could be causing it?

IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID.

I have to say, nothing pisses me of more than being lied to by people who are proclaimed experts. Unless it's being lied to by our so-called 'democratic' government.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!
