Anyway, it makes me wonder. Is he REALLY running for president? Or is that just a publicity stunt to up his book sales?

It usually means something really big and really bad is about to come out about him, so he's using this time to cash in before he has to cash out.

I'll bet money there's a scandal around the corner for the alleged "doctor" Carson, noted idiot and confirmed welfare queen.

Will it be an affair? A dead girl? A live boy? Another Grindr faux pas with yet another GOP hopeful spreading his ass cheeks while talking about the evils of homosex? All of the above?

Or does he just want to try to shill as many of his books as possible before any more Republicans realize he's a blithering idiot?

Yes, that was the very point I made!

If history is any guide, look at how well that worked out for Gingrich. He may have sold a few extra books (though sales were naturally limited by the small size of his target audience), but where is he now, politically? He gained some extra sales, but ensured his political career was over. Since that's how things turned out, you have to wonder if that's what he intended all along.

The same goes for Carson. What is he intending?
