Maybe I'm just a dumb softie -- or a subtly brilliant softie. So subtle, in fact, that it cannot be picked up by human beings or any machines. -- Joss Whedon

Brenda: I do remember THG.
Brenda: You should buying something nice for yourself. A friend of mine and me always do that because we are the only ones who know what we like.
Brenda: Yeah, I can do that with paring knives or even banging to tables and such. When I first do it I don't always feel it till a couple of days later. I don't really notice the damage especially if it is on a finger. I know that is strange but that is just me.
Brenda: Well, everything wears out eventually. Just like humans. I bought my mouse and key board together after I got this desktop set up. Don't remember what I paid but it wasn't a lot.
Brenda: The East really has. The little Atlantic provinces and states down there. Always digging out in the winter.

THG: TRUMP'S APPROVAL RATINGS TUMBLE AMONG REPUBLICANS
6ixStringJack: I guess we'll see what happens. Hasn't even been a year yet, and there's another year before there's any meaningful elections. I wonder if you'll spend the next 365 days obsessively posting about Trump and letting him live rent free in your head or if you're going to grow up between now and then.
THG: TRUMP'S APPROVAL RATINGS TUMBLE AMONG REPUBLICANS
6ixStringJack: Man I miss that thing. It's been a while since I bought myself something nice. I may have to splurge and throw this ratty old thing in the trash where it belongs.
6ixStringJack: I've been saying that I would be buying stuff from other people for pennies on the dollar when stuff started to get bad, but I didn't think it would be with things that are practically considered collectibles now... It's the 1.0 version of the Microsoft Trackball Explorer from the mid-90's. I'm seeing them used on ebay and they look to be in great shape for around $40 to $60 each, which is right around what they retailed for back then.
6ixStringJack: No freakin way...................
6ixStringJack: I love this mouse, but even this thing was a downgrade from an even better one that Microsoft put out in the late 90's that I used up until around 2015 or so when it finally crapped out on me. It was the best mouse that anybody ever made and I've never found anything close to it. 10 years ago when I was looking for a replacement, people were selling it for almost $500 sealed and around $200 used because they knew how good they were. I can't remember what it's called. I'm going to see if I can figure it out and then see if anybody is still selling them. They're probably $1,000 sealed now.
6ixStringJack: Boy... The East Coast has been getting hammered a lot in the last few years, huh? We've only had one really bad one since I moved here which isn't that bad. Had 2 or 3 bad ones out of 5 when I was living in Wisconsin though. Poor JSF.... Bah. He's probably used to it. I moved there to late and lived there too short to ever get used to it myself.
