Jayne's stream of conciousness. Don't fret if it's not coherent, it's Jayne after all. I was sitting about, writing these streams of conciousness and thought: "no one likes the thought of being in your head, Jayne." then I thought that it is actually kinda easy to tell what is going on in there. And voila (or however you spell the dastardly French word) here it the fic.

CATEGORY: FICTION    TIMES READ: 2294    RATING: 8    SERIES: FIREFLY

Why?

No one wants to be inside his head. They all agree. Good. Too mucha nuthin' they think. Or too mucha somethin' else. His lopsided grin appears. But he wants them to hate (love) him. It is good that they keep their distance. Physically. Verbally. Oh, and mentally. He is glad (resentful) that they think he is dumb. He is. He doesn’t try to prove otherwise. Their loss. He hates (loves) them as they hate (love) him. He really doesn’t need them. He could leave. Should. Get rich from them. Why the gorram hell doesn’t he? They would be better off. Well, no, not if they're in the slam. Not when he is no longer there to shoot for them when Mal makes dumb choices. Not when there is no one to spot the preacher when he lifts.

Speaking of which, there he is, struggling with removing the weights. Better help him.

Without thinking, he walks over and easily set up the weights for Book.

There. Where would you be without me? Oh. Right. You hate me. I can tell from your eyes. You're all high-and-mighty and I'm just an idiot and a sinner. You hate (love) me.

Oh. Now you thank me. You smile warmly. You lay down and lift. And here I am. Helping.

Why?

This is great! A few too many adverbs re: keeping their distance. The only other thing that didn't sound like Jayne was "there he is, struggling with removing the weights". Sounds a little too high-brow for him. ;) Everything else is exactly Jayne. Voila! :D

Memories of Snow
I never state the name, but it's an easy guess. It came to me after watching The Message. He talks about the dreams he had of his parents.

Momentum Chapter Three
Long-awaited continuation of a (still) unfinished tale. Wash centric. Read the first two chapters here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/bluesun.aspx?bid=10333 and here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/bluesun.aspx?bid=10354

Artist
A really short ficlet. Jayne's POV. (I'm writing again! Actually, I've just typed up some things I wrote during class last semester. I've a few more at http://www.fanfiction.net/u/652052/)

Betrayal
Mal's thoughts at Serenity Valley. Who's he most angry at, the Alliance or the Independents?

Smell
Inara reflects on the smell of Mal's browncoat. Very short, possibly will be continued.

Rocket
Wash-sadness. Zoe POV. I can't let the deathfic go.

Stranger
Watched the BDM. Got ideas. Wrote for the first time in a god bit. Mal, River, during the BDM.

Trip Wire
I watched the BDM today. This is a scene from it. Zoe's pov, dialogue from the script.

Stream
Yay! I wrote again. First in a long time. I think I wrote this from Kaylee's perspective, at least in Kaylee vernacular, but I'm not really sure why. I know it's short and prolly not very Kaylee, but I wrote. I also don't really know what it's about. Comment as you like.

The Chair (round 2)
Conpanion piece to my last post. Rive stream of consciousness. More post BDM Wash missing.
