I didn't write this I found it while looking up poetry

CATEGORY: FICTION    TIMES READ: 2850    RATING: 10    SERIES: FIREFLY

**I did NOT write this poem, the author is Andy Young, I don't own Firefly

Sister You will arrive

At a point When you realize That you have been missing From most of your life

You will forget The redness of your mother's lips But remember losing A slice of skin on your knee

Childhood will not pass quickly It will erode like paint around a doorknob

You will search The curve of your spine The knot in your stomach The seam of you dress

Between temples, lips, legs

And you will find Pieces that fit together and pieces That aren't there

Someone took them from you Without the permission You did not know that you had

You will glue the pieces together And the cracks will leak You will break open Fall apart And I will help you Find you

We will wait till May And dig a hole together Bury the pieces you have And don't have

And I will lie Next to you On the ground Until you grow

ANDY YOUNG

A beautiful poem, thanks for sharing it with all of us after you found it. I'm always amazed when two completely unrelated works seem to just fit together.

Every great idea starts out as blasphemy.

...based on a quote from some commercial. Eh...I thought it was funny.

Crush
It's not really what you think, really. And it's really short.

Serenity
This may make no sense, but it takes place after Objects in Space, and it's Simon thinking(if you can't tell). Oh, and it's a songfic to Godsmack's 'Serenity', Someone's probably done it, but oh well.

A Bet
A bet is made late at night...(kinda funny and kinda mean)

Hello
This just popped into my head as i was listening to this song, Hello by Evanescence, and it reminded me of River(warning: written the first time I listened to this song, about a year ago).
