Sorry for the size. Trying to come up with an order of the planets in the 'verse as a single star system. Traced the image behind River's teacher's head from the movie. I'd love any feedback about placement.

Very Nice

Kind of reminds me of a Tube (London Underground) map

Aww, crap. I used Verbena as a Core world, and it's way the hell out past Haven.

Excellent map, though. And if we use some of the "distances" given in the show, we could probably compile a table of how long it takes to get fromm planet to planet.

Excellent galactic map...if a big oblong;)

Still...is Miranda meant to be unnamed as it was in the BDM?

I dunno if that's Miranda or not. I can't imagine it would be part of the system map the teacher shows. I just didn't have a name for that one.

Speaking of which, I imagine there could/would be a lot more rocks out there, especially orbiting the gas giants (Georgia and Heinlein). This was just to get a bearing on the worlds we have seen/do know about.

And speaking of bearings, I did try to use some of the travel time info from dialogue, but a lot of it would be suspect due to A) plot drive (i.e. we'll get there when the writers decide we should) and B) The planet's actual position in it's orbit could cause dramatic differences in flight times.

Totlay awesome. I've been trying to visualize this for a fic. I need to know what's on the way to where so I'm not going back and forth too much.

And just a little thing. Isn't Beaumonde the fouthe moon of Athens? I thought Mall said that in Our Mrs. Reynolds.

I was looking at his again and I have a question. Liann and Angel seem to be labeling the same thing. Am I missing something or isthere a moon maybe? I'm just asking.

Still don't take this as criticism. I could naever manage to put this togeter! This is a fantastic job.

neat! MAl once stated that there were about 75 worlds in the 'verse (Book said hundreds in one of the lead ins). So I wonder where the other 30ish worlds fit in?

Thank for the map! Just saw the BDM and wanted a close look at the map [ in rthe classroom scene. Plus there's a planet called Heinlein! For all us older SciFi fans, that is so cool. Grew up reading Robert A. Heinlein. And any of you you younguns out there in the 'Verse don't suss who Heinlein is, read some of his stuff. "Stranger in a Strange Land" is what he's best known for. "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" is awesome, as is "Gory Road" [fantasy outting]...

Thank you for clearing things up.

I didn't realize that Liann Jiun was one word.

As for the fourth moon thing I guess I just got things mixed up. I remember hem saying something about it I just fudged the ep so the name was wrong.

Sorry about that.

So once again, great job.

Thanks again.

And Canton is on Higgins' Moon.

@MAGhaffar: I seem to remember "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls" fondly.

@Vegas: I think that's one of the most exciting things is that there must be at least dozens if not hundreds of worlds not listed here. I decided to stick to what's been mentioned and shown, figuring folks could use their imaginations about where to stick new worlds. And wouldn't I just LOVE to update the map with new info from a big damn sequel...

Again sorry for the size. Lotta info to include.

I've updated some of the rim worlds to better reflect events/screens from the movie. Big assumption being that Burnham quadrant refers to a planet called Burnham around which our mystery planet orbits...

What Is River Writing?
So I'm bad at math, and only a little better at PhotoShop. Can anyone read this?
