After I (finally) started reading Hotpoints long running fic, I got the idea to make a patch/logo for the Balls&Bayonets Brigade. The 7th infantry bit actually refers to Hotpoints fic. The Latin translation is done by Hotpoint, and actually reads Testicles and Daggers...but that was as close as we could get it.

I like it, what does it look like if you have a 5 pointed star (inverted) where the stripes are or even with the star and a little bit of the strips on either side? or am I missing something really important about the Millitary Unit? (doesn`t the browncoat insignia/flag have the Green with a yellow star?)

Thanks Zol, I actually have a version with the star instead of the "VII" as well, might post that version as well some time.

The browncoat insignia as seen on Mal's uniform was an green triangle, with the inverted black star and two yellow stripes
